Jody Steinglass

| Jody's talent for explaining
complex concepts became apparent in ninth grade, when he began
a peer tutoring program in his New York suburban high school.
Twelve years later, after receiving a bachelor's degree in economics
from Yale University and a Master's Degree in interactive education
from New York University, he founded Empire Edge. Jody has worked
with math students in many of New York City's private and independent
schools. He has meticulously hired each advisor based on expertise,
enthusiasm, patience, and love of teaching. Jody personally
trains each advisor on his techniques and approaches, through
which he has seen dramatic successes. As a senior advisor, he
speaks with each client regularly, answering questions and devising
individualized long-range objectives. |

Claire

| Claire graduated from
Duke University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology,
a minor in Chemistry, and a pre-med concentration. Claire was
accepted into University of Illinois medical school but decided
to change course and is currently in her second year at Columbia
Business School. She has
advised students in a variety of subjects, including Physics,
Spanish, Psychology, Pre-algebra and the Biology SAT Subject
Test. She has had notable successes with her students, as she
focuses on their complete understanding of relevant topics and
encourages them as she works with them to prepare for upcoming
assignments and tests. |

Paul

Paul is a certified secondary mathematics teacher with experience advising students in all levels of mathematics from arithmetic up through calculus. Paul uses his proven techniques from the classroom to make math fun and engaging so that all students--whether studying for enrichment or remediation--can perform to the best of their abilities. Paul also uses his own strengths at test-taking to help students increase their scores on the SAT, state tests, and other standardized tests.

Carol

| Carol taught Latin (beginning
students through the AP courses) at The Dalton School for 32
years. She was also the chairman of the language department
for 20 years. She has a BA from Smith College and a MA from
Bank Street College in education. She has also taught as a substitute
in the New York public school system grades K-12. Shs is a member
of the American Philological Association and the Archaeological
Institute of America. She attends lectures and conferences sponsored
by both. She has also taken graduate courses in Latin. Carol
has a great love of teaching and enjoys working one-on-one with
her students. |
